My review is for Cahall's catering service. I ordered a turkey, 1/2 ham, and dressing for an early Thanksgiving celebration. The food was ready on time and was delicious. The cost was around $120 and was enough to feed about 20 people.

Received a gift of a Spiral Ham for Christmas. Picked it up on 12/24. I was there along with the rest of Bay County, They were so organized and had plenty of help. Things moved very quickly and I was out of there in no time. The best part was the flavor of the ham. It was absolutely delicious and a lovely gift!! Keep up the great service. Also, a GREAT place for a sandwich. YUM!

This is a nice place for a good sandwich! I am use to the good delis in NY and this one helps fill the void. I loved that you get a pickle with your sandwich and chips. There isn't a lot of seating so finding a seat during lunch time can be hard. I had the submarine which is like an italian mix and it was huge! I think it could be shared if you appetite isn't to big. Found it a little confusing when ordering so that is why I only give it 4 stars. The sign could be easier to read and more accessible take out menus to look at before approaching the counter. Overall it was a great place to get a sandwich. I will have to try the pasta and mac and cheese next time.

I lived in PC for 8 months before a native at work clued me and my friends into this place. Hailing from New England, I'm spoiled by good delis. I didn't think there was one around here until this place! Sandwiches are wonderful with fillings helped generously onto unbelievably soft breads. Sandwiches can be upgraded to meals with chips, a pickle (wonderfully crispy dill), and a fountain drink. But the real star of this deli is its prepared entrees and sides. Lasagna, mac and cheese, and casseroles are staples, with other entrees and sides rotating through the menu as well. You can get them heated for now or take some home for later. Someone in the owner's family or circle of friends cooks Greek food, so the obligatory grapeleaves and baklava are often available. There are also pies, cakes, brownies, cookies, and puddings in a tempting dessert case. Oh, and I almost forgot, their deli salads AMAZE. St. Claires Loaded Baked Potato Salad is heaven in a styrofoam cup. Go here, you won't be disappointed! Unless, of course, you hate delicious delis... ;-)

Great deli! Doesn't get much better than this in PC. Get the chicken salad...they are renowned for it.

Best chicken salad ever. I will buy it by the pint and eat it for lunch for a few days in a row. If you add dill relish then it makes it even better. Their lemon bars are ridiculously good!!

Cahall's is a deli and they a "Boar's Head" sign in the window. This is always a good thing and so the fact that I stopped in for breakfast was probably my mistake. While the omelet was good and the toast with it was good, it was really rather unspecial and boring. But while I sat there waiting and then eating this fresh omelet, I saw lots of fresh stuff being prepared. Salads and sandwiches being laid out, orders being taken, orders being fulfilled. All made right then and there in the deli. So I will need to have to come back here for lunch.

I have been eating lunch here and ordering take-out for staff meetings and luncheons for years. Everything is excellent. The sides and deserts are outstanding, but the chicken salad is crazy good and absolutely addicting. Ask anyone in PC! We affectionally call it Cahall's Chicken Crack. The chicken salad plate with chips, a pickle and drink is a great lunch. Be prepared to wait patiently in line a while if you come anytime around lunch, but the staff is really great and they handle the crowds well.

What a neat place. I'm glad I finally got to come here. Actually I finally remembered. I have had this place bookmarked for a while. Friendly service that greets you at the door. Sit in or carry out. This place has an old school deli feel with anew age attitude. The food selection is plenty and not restricted to just a few options. Its clean and not overly expensive. Don't pass this up. Check it out rather than the chain places on the same stretch on the same road. Well worth it.

Middle aged blonde was really rude and not friendly even after I tried to be friendly to her. She acted like she hated her job.

I am so thankful for finding this little diamond in the rough. When I saw a New Englander (like myself) give this spot rave reviews - I KNEW I needed to try it! I must have passed it hundreds of times, and yet never knew it was there.... it's kind of "tucked away", in its little mini-plaza, just waiting to be discovered. The parking could be better, but for the spot where Cahall's is located - I don't think it could be improved, unless patrons park in lots of nearby businesses. On my first visit (during the week, around 4:30 pm), had not a patron just left, freeing a spot, I would have had to come back another time. Luckily, on my second visit, it was 10:30 am, on a Monday morning, and ample parking to be found. The method in which your order is taken is a bit chaotic/unpleasant. No one knows who was in line first, self-important bungholes cutting in front of a crowd of people already waiting, and the people behind the counter are running around like ants in maze, so they have no clue who arrived, when. I wish they had some sort of number system, to prevent chaos, and possible fist fights with aforementioned self-important bungholes. I think I'm going to order ahead from now on, until they remedy this situation - because I don't have the patience for it. I was a little disappointed about missing breakfast (ends at 10 am), but there are so many other yummy items, that my disappointment quickly abated. Now, for atmosphere inside: my first impression was that it was kind of dark (somewhere between romantic... and bowels of a pirate ship) in some areas and light in others (very "artificial" like that found in an institution - school, mental or penal)... I can't quite explain it, but you will see what I mean right when you walk in. As I did on my first visit, I ordered the: Chicken Salad Sandwich, with lettuce, no tomato, on sourdough bread, with a side of chips and a dill pickle spear. The chicken salad sandwich, was as good as people say. I LOOOOOOOVE that they don't put celery in their chicken salad. Nothing ticks me off quicker than when people put celery in EVERYTHING - and chicken salad at Cahall's is pure chicken-salad yumminess. I saw that they had a seafood chowder, that looked appetizing, so ordered a 6 oz cup of that. The only thing that I was uncomfortable with is that they 1.) are using Styrofoam containers and 2.) they HEAT UP THE FOOD IN THOSE CONTAINERS!! I disappointed to the extreme that this is normal practice here. I almost told her to keep it, after I saw her pull my soup (in container AND lid) out of the microwave - but just coming from a traumatic dentist appointment, I didn't want to deal. I tried to reason with myself that I won't get cancer from eating 6 oz of seafood chowder out of this container... and then prayed that Cahall's would soon changed to paper. Putting aside the possible carcinogens and diethylhexyl adipate that may have seeped into my food: the chowder was really good. Not run of the mill good, but New England Chowder type of good, with big chunks of shrimp, perfectly seasoned and wonderfully creamy. Just as amazing as the chicken salad sandwich!! If you are cautious, like I am, just tell them not to heat it up and then take care of business yourself, whenever you're ready to eat. I also wish that they had more sizes. I believe that their first two sizes are: 6 oz, and then 16 oz. I found 6 oz to be too small (just enough to make me mad), but 16 oz. to be too big. How about a 10 oz. cup Cahall? Most of their desserts are lovely. I ordered the lemon-square on my first visit, and it was so cloyingly sweet and gooey, that I was unable to force myself to eat it; ending up only to throw it out. I ordered the lemon creme cake today (looks like the one that the Olive Garden has on their menu), and hope for better results (will update). The desserts are wonderfully "home-made" style, and thankfully tastes like nothing that could be had out of the box/freezer. ENTREE FOOD: 7/10 BREAKFAST: 9/10 DESSERTS: 7/10 (1st visit) Pending (2nd visit) ATMOSPHERE: 8/10 CUSTOMER SERVICE: 6/10 EASE OF ORDERING: 4/10 PRICE vs QUALITY: 2.5/5 REPEAT VISIT POTENTIAL: 8/10 REFER TO FRIENDS?: 8/10 REFER TO FAMILY?: 8/10 01/26/2015 UPDATE: I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and the texture of the chicken salad was so... repulsive, that I know that won't be ordering again - even though I had positive experiences previously. After one bite of the pureed/liquified chicken salad, I threw the whole sandwich and my floppy pickle away... but ate my chips. Thank God for chips.

Ummm, this place makes the best of everything. I had tried chicken and tuna salads in the past before, but all were absolutely terrible and something I never thought I would enjoy, but after my GF told me to try the chicken salad here I rolled my eyes but agreed to try it. After trying it, I am a believer. The Chicken and Tuna salads are really good and is something I look forward to trying again.

I grew up in Panama City and when I visit my family back there we always get the Cahalls Chicken Salad. It is out of this world. This time back we got the chicken salad and some twice backed potatoes. The Chicken Salad has not changed a bit but the twice baked potatoes changed quite a bit... but for the better! I was shocked at how delicious the twice backed potatoes were. They did something different with the cheese and bacon. At our Christmas dinner the twice baked potato was the highlight! If you haven't tried Cahalls in a while, it is worth a try! Robert Weitekamp

Famous for the chicken salad, the other sandwiches they make are also very good. Consistent quality deli experience for lunch. I've never had their desserts, but man they look amazing under the service counter!

One of the best restaurants in Panama City! Everything and Anything on the menu is wonderful.. There's usually a line around 11:30-1:00 but it's well worth the wait..

Christ and his staff are wonderful. Best chicken salad in Bay County. Not sure what they put in it: crack, perhaps? I can't stop eating it. The chicken pot pies are downright sinful. A great deli, with nice people and great service. Highly recommend!

Continues to be an excellent lunch spot. I was on a business trip again and went with my 2 co-workers. We were satisfied with all our entrees. I had the Turkey Reuben one day and the Buffalo Chicken sandwich the other day with a side of fruit. I also tried the orzo balsamic salad that was recommended and delicious. The chicken pot pie casserole was good too. I love everything about this place, except their use of so much waste - aka styrofoam. It's the 21st century....esp if i'm dining in, don't bother with a huge styrofoam container, just put it on a paper plate (if you don't want dishware) and serve. Otherwise, food quality, service, and quickness is A+. There's no other lunch place I'd go to in Panama City!
